James P. Mercurio

James Mercurio is a premier trial attorney who has acquired successful outcomes for countless clients. Mr. Mercurio is a graduate of Salve Regina University, where he earned a degree in Administration of Justice before attending Roger Williams School of Law. In law school, Mr. Mercurio worked for the Office of the Rhode Island Public Defender, but more importantly it was during this time that he discovered a passion for trial work. After law school Mr. Mercurio joined Brooklyn Defender Services, reputed to be one of the nation’s best public defender officers, where he quickly gained substantial litigation experience in the trenches of Brooklyn’s Criminal and Supreme Courts. A tenacious litigator, Mr. Mercurio was soon the youngest lawyer promoted to Senior Trial Attorney in the organization’s history.
